CLOUD NOIR

Not long ago Ing and I went to an art opening on 3rd street. The artist was Patrick McCarthy. His stuff was amazing! Every piece screamed Hollywood and old cinema. These are some of my fav's. Check out his website here its totally worth it.

He also makes and sells really cool rustic furnisher.

This last one is one of my favorites because of what it translates to; love conquers all.

This past fourth when I was in San Fran I ran upon the sweetest bakery, Miette. They had everything...red velvet cupcakes, old fashioned pies, gingersnaps, lavender shortbread AND wedding cakes. My mom and I almost didn't make it out. I wanted to eat everything. Whoever did their design was spot on too. The entire store was light and airy and smelled of sweet butter. YUM!

max wanger

Max Wanger is one of my favorite photographers. I follow his blog and frequent his portfolio like its my job. His photos are super edgy and he's come up with printing some of his most loved images on shirts. Brilliant idea because they are effortlessly cool and thus make you look so. Here are some of shirts which you can also by as prints for your wall.

Get in my belly!

I've always loved food. I love to eat, cook and photograph all things foods. Ever since Ingram and I moved in together we've been trying to save cash by eating in and preparing all our meals. With that comes some frustration as to what to cook and how to keep meals interesting. Insert my love of Instyle's website. Normally I check them out for my weekly beauty and fashion fix/tip. This week though I found some fabulous recipes and better yet they are straight from celebrities. If there good enough for them they are certainly good enough for Ing and myself!

Have a look and happy cooking!

Finding inspiration for the decor of my apartment (see photos). The hard part is getting all these wonderful finds. Take a look and tell me if you like what you see!

This last one was just to cute not to add!

Sweet Mimi

This past July 4th weekend I flew up to San Francisco to hang with my Mom, relax and see the city.

It was funny being back there because when I was a little thing I went to visit San Fran and remember falling in love with the rolling hills and brisk weather. I wanted to be a ballet dancer and live on some windy road in the big city. Being just on hour flight away I can sort of make that dream come true...

My Mom is one of the most beautiful people I know. She's the kind of mother that will rub your belly when your sick making you feel like your the safest you could possibly be and also lay down the law with her southern twang and blue eyes. She's the greatest woman I know and I'm so blessed to have her for a mother and friend.

My brother, Mom, and I being goofy.

Her little Mini and Sasha.

A couple things today that I love...

From the greatest website for photographers right here. One of these is on the way to my apartment to be framed and placed right over my desk. It's a good mantra to go by especially when its your livelihood.

Emerson Made, a chic website is launching there clothing line for women soon. I can't wait to get something like this for an interview or just a weekend brunch.

If only I was told this before graduation. I kid I kid...sorta.
